Pinatex Cinnamon Luxury Vegan Handbag Eco Friendly
Mashu Pinatex Cinnamon Luxury Vegan Handbag
When you can, avoid vegan leather created from polyvinyl chloride or PVC for short, leather from skin of animals. PVC is not biodegradable and not easy to recycle. It usually ends up creating micro plastics that are ingested by fish and other animals. The production of PVC results in the creation of dioxin, a highly toxic manmade contaminant that remains in the body for a long time.

Mashu brand with luxury vegan handbag
Mashu is committed to drive change through best practice, ensuring our environmental impact is as small as possible through our production, materials and entire supply chain. We believe a good product is judged not only by its looks but equally through the way it was created.
Mashu uses materials based on conservation of raw materials, toxic-free solutions, and with minimal dependency on natural resources. For example we are using materials from recycled polyester and plastic. That means reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions into the atmosphere by 80% compared to the traditional petrol-based polyester production process. We also use natural fibers such as Pinatex a leather alternative made from cellulose fibers extracted from pineapple leaves. We plan to implement more natural fibres in our next seasons such as Hemp, Jute, and more. All of our materials are recyclable at the end of its useful life. Our handles are all made from wooden off cuts from a furniture company in Greece that would otherwise be thrown or burned creating a circular economy and cradle design system.
